The company employs approximately 1,800 people worldwide. WireCo WorldGroup headquarters is moving to Kansas City, Missouri on October 29, 2007. The company operates manufacturing plants, distribution facilities and research and development centers in the US, Canada, Germany and Mexico with a new plant nearing completion in China.
In February 2007, equity capital investor Fox Paine III acquired WireCo WorldGroup.
