The hydraulically-extending jib increases the hook height of the crane by one metre (3ft) without raising the headroom of the hook, the company said. The fly jib’s powered hydraulic cylinder extends the boom while the crane is operating.
The jib can be fitted to models from capacity 3.5t to 90t. Valla Cranes UK converted Valla’s manual extension to a powered hydraulic version. This is the second unit sold in the UK.
