All next week, Cranes Today will be previewing some of the crane industry highlights of the upcoming ConExpo show in Las Vegas, starting on Monday with exhibits from XCMG and Can-Pick, IMT, and Camac. Read on for details of other highlights coming up next week, and an overview of the show.

On Tuesday, we’ll have details of the exhibits from Manitowoc, Palfinger, and Alimak Hek. On Wednesday we’ll bring you Linden Comansa, Lift Systems, and Hirschmann, with Liebherr, Manitex, and Autec following on Thursday. We’ll round the week off with details of what to expect from Kobelco, Maeda and HBC-radiomatic. Cranes Today’s coverage of what to expect at ConExpo won’t end there though.

We’ll be keeping you updated with new show details as they come through from the exhibitors. In our February issue of the magazine, we’ll be carrying an eight-page preview, packed with new cranes from some of the world’s most important crane builders. We’ll also have a handy list of the most important suppliers from our industry, and a map to help you find them. We’ve also got a special report on the show, and construction in Las Vegas, lined up for you. Future issues will report on breaking news as the show gets closer, and a review of what was there.

This year’s ConExpo will run from Tuesday 11 March through to Saturday 15 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. There will be stands from more than 2,000 exhibitors taking 2.1m sq ft (195,090 sq m) of indoor and outdoor exhibit space. Cranes Today estimates that more than 150 of these make products that relate directly to the lifting industry.

More than 125,000 visitors from across the construction, aggregates and ready mixed concrete industries are expected to attend the show, including contractors, materials producers, and government and institutional sector officials from around the world.

The show is organised by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the US trade body for plant manufacturers. More than 85 industry organisations from around the world are expected to participate.

As well as the guide here, you can find an interactive map on the ConExpo website, www.conexpoconagg.com, which will help you to plan your visit and find the best the show has to offer.

As ever, Cranes Today will be an enthusiastic participant, and our staff will be on hand to help you find the best that the crane industry has to offer. You can find our stand in Silver Lot 3, S-894, close to the South Hall Lobby.
