Palfinger is offering a portable forklift to complement its range of loader cranes.

Unlike conventional rear-mounted portable forklifts, the Crayler is transported in a compartment underneath the trailer between the axles that keeps the axle loading neutral, and provides weather protection and security.

Operated by radio control, the Crayler is driven out of the box and the mast erected hydraulically, giving a maximum working height of 2.85m and a 1.8t lifting capacity. Powered by a three-cylinder diesel engine, hydrostatic all-wheel drive with an anti-slip device allows operation on rough terrain and slopes up to 30%.
