Liebherr, Manitowoc and Terex, three of the biggest crane manufacturers in the world, have thrown their weight behind Crane Safety 2004, an international conference being held in London in June.

All three companies have agreed to sponsor the crane safety event of the year, with Manitowoc coming on board for the first time, demonstrating the commitment that these manufacturers have to the cause of reducing the accident rate among crane users and increasing operational efficiency.

Among speakers so far lined up for the conference are Mammoet safety director Bryan Cronie, Terex-Demag technical director Klaus Meissner and UK rental boss Martin Ainscough.
