MEATY CHUNKS
1 March 1998A Manitowoc 777 Series-2 crane, from Essex Crane Rental, is equipped with 61.0m main boom and 12.2m jib to lift a 13t hopper into a 46m-high mill tower during construction of a new pet-food plant near Leipsic, Ohio, USA.
The 777 placed the hopper 18.3m above grade on structural steel inside the tower at a 24.4m radius. The plant is being constructed by Todd & Sargent for the Iams pet-food company.
