Mobile crane manufacturer CT Compact Truck has delivered a 40t capacity CT.2 to Bernische Kraftwerke AG (BKW), an energy company that operates power stations in Switzerland.

BKW's CT.2 is equipped with a luffing jib and a remotely-controlled man basket for working on pylons and overhead powerlines.

In addition, Compact Truck has developed a second drum for hydraulic hoses, which can be fixed at the boom head. This hydraulically supplies an orange peel grab (pictured), which is mainly used for the removal of deposit such as wood, leaves or mud from the weirs of the hydro-electric power stations.
