Australian crane rental firm Tutt Bryant Group, a subsidiary of Tat Hong, has bought the assets of Melbourne-based Bradshaw Ultra Heavy Haulage Ltd. In China, another of the Singapore giant’s subsidiaries, Tat Hong Heavy Equipment (China) Pte Ltd, announced it had completed two more acquisitions.

The Australian deal saw Tutt Bryant buy 44 Nicolas platform trailers with four 200t prime movers, and various other special transport equipment. The firm has already bought a further 28 trailers this year, and it has 44 more on order. Tutt Bryant managing director David Haynes said, “This acquisition will provide growth opportunities for project services on [Australia’s] eastern seaboard, as well as enhance our ability to meet customer needs for logistics support in Western Australia.”

Separately, Tutt Bryant’s Chinese sister firm, Tat Hong Equipment (China) said it had finalised deals to invest in China Nuclear Huaxing Tathong Machinery Construction and Jiangsu Zhenghe Tathong Equipment Rental.
