Al Suwaidi takes to the desert road
11 November 2014 by Daniel SearleA 252t liquid separator has been transported across Saudi Arabia by Al Suwaidi Equipment & Transport.
Using a 32-axle line MHD modular heavy-duty trailer from Nicolas, the transport company moved the load from Al Jubail in Saudi Arabia to the Khursaniyah gas refinery operated by Aramco.
The project, which took place in the north-east of the country close to Dammam, included the Nicolas MHD navigating a 30km section of desert, sand drifts caused by high winds, and uphill climbs. The MHD trailer can carry 36t per axle line
