Boscaro launches multifunction concrete bucket

The concrete bucket can be used for various applications such as filling column forms, applying roofing gravel, or dry feed products.

It can also be used on a forklift use, or to fill tight forms.

For different applications, the bucket employs various features, Eagle West Cranes explained.

“The bottom platform converts the box gate into a six-inch central discharge bucket, excellent for use in applying roofing gravel and other dry feed products,” it said.

The concrete bucket discharges through the bottom using a counter-sprung box gate, which especially useful for filling column forms.

The discharge slide can be set for in and out of service or removed completely by pulling two bolts.

Operators can use a rubber hose, adjustable to variable lengths, to convert the standard bucket into a precision placement system for filling tight forms or columns.

To use the concrete bucket by a forklift, the bottom platform can be employed.

For storage, the solid central bridle can be removed to allow stacking of multiple buckets.

Gerry Wiebe, representative for Eagle West Cranes and Equipment, said, “Eagle West’s crane service company has often used this type of product for projects its own cranes were used on. We saw the opportunity to engineer a new, more user-friendly concept in concrete buckets.”

Eagle West is actively seeking dealers and sales agents for the Boscaro product line.

Existing Boscaro dealers include Certified Boom Repair Service, Tampa, Florida, locally distributing Boscaro crane accessories.

“We felt it was a natural extension of our already existing service and repair business to be able to offer our customers material handling accessories,” said Mike Smith, president of Certified Boom Repair Service.

The Boscaro product line includes pallet forks, self-dumping bins, concrete buckets, two and four person man baskets, clamshell buckets, precast handling equipment, and storage solutions.
