27th International Offshore Crane & Lifting Conference set to convene in Aberdeen, Scotland, this April.

The Norwegian Society of Lifting Technology (NSLT), in conjunction with the Offshore Mechanical Handling Equipment Committee, are hosting the International Offshore Crane & Lifting Conference in Aberdeen, Scotland, on 23-24 April, 2024.

The annual conference will be the event’s 27th edition. It focusses exclusively on offshore cranes and lifting, across multiple sectors, and is designed to be a meeting place for anyone involved in offshore lifting.

The event alternates between the offshore energy centres of Stavanger, Norway, and Aberdeen, Scotland, where is well-placed to attract exhibitors and visitors involved in the North Sea oil and gas industry, plus regulators, major duty holders, oil and gas contractors, service companies from around the world.

Indeed the organisers says they aim to make the conference as international as possible; at last year’s event a total of 170 delegates from 14 nations and five continents attended.

NSLT says that at this year’s event participants will have the opportunity to meet and share their experiences with offshore petroleum regulators, experts, and industry leaders from the offshore crane and lifting operations community.

The conference will cover a wide range of new topics in offshore cranes and lifting technology, offshore wind, subsea and heavy lifting, crane standardisation, and regulatory and industry safety initiatives, it adds.

The venue for the show is the P&J Live event complex.
