Dave Hull has been named senior vice president of sales and marketing in North America for Manitowoc. The move is part of a reorganisation that will strengthen the company’s aftersales product, Crane Care.

Hull has worked for Manitowoc for 15 years. He will now report to Larry Weyers, executive vice president of Manitowoc for the Americas

Weyers said of the appointment: “Dave has worked for Manitowoc since 1995 in a number of roles, including director of trade finance, general manager for our Australian region, and most recently, as vice president of sales for mobile and lattice cranes. These experiences, his customer focus and strong leadership skills, position him for success in his new role.”

Hull is replacing Ingo Schiller, who was only recently named as senior vice president of worldwide marketing. Schiller ran Liebherr’s US sales for many years, a relationship first developed by his father, Heinz Schiller. Joining Manitowoc in 2007, Schiller took on the worldwide marketing position from Bob Hund, who is devoting his attention to Manitowoc’s Crane Care aftersales and service product, a central part of the company’s strategy. Previously, Hund had been responsible for both marketing and Crane Care.
