Neeb and Schuch partner to buy 500-tonner
25 August 2011German hirers Neeb, based in Wuppertal, and Schuch, based in Speyer, have partnered up to buy a 500t Liebherr for jobs in Eastern Europe.
The two rental firms are both second generation family businesses that are more than 50 years old. They began working together last year with a partnership in Qatar and, this year, set up Schuch-Neeb GmbH, which focuses on special units and large items of equipment for international operations.
The new LTM 1500-8.1 is intended for operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia. The extension of the fleet is already firmly on course, ready to service the growth markets of Asia and South America.
Both founder companies continue to operate as independent concerns, and still run their individual branches in Germany, Spain, France, Luxemburg, Romania, Tunisia, Congo, Alge-ria, Serbia, and Abu-Dhabi.
