New Rocol grease for booms
25 August 2020Industrial lubricant firm Rocol has launched Tuflube Extreme, a new heavy duty grease for crane boom maintenance.
The new grease is formulated to protect and lubricate crane telescopic booms and open gears in even the wettest and most corrosive conditions. Tuflube Extreme operates across a temperature range of -50oC up to +160OC and its white colour makes safety inspections easier.
The high-performance grease offers protection against pitting and corrosion with a tough self-repairing film ideal for sliding surfaces such as telescopic crane boom arms and open gears.
“We are always looking at developing our product range in response to market needs and working closely with end users allows us to respond quickly. The new Tuflube Extreme grease is a great example of this approach to product evolution,” said David Westwood, engineering manager at Rocol.
“Its ability to operate across wider temperature ranges makes it ideal for onshore and offshore applications in locations ranging from the high northern hemisphere to Middle Eastern climates.”
Tuflube Extreme forms part of the Rocol Tuflube and Tufgear range, a collection of products designed specifically to deliver high performance in heavy industrial applications.
