Kobelco Construction Machinery has introduced the TKE750GLB, a telescopic boom crawler crane designed for the European market, with 75 metric tonnes of maximum lifting capacity.

The model is based on the TKE750G and extends the crane’s operational range with a boom length reaching up to 35m.

It comes equipped with a Mercedes-Benz E9H01 (Daimler OM936LA) water-cooled, in-line six-cylinder direct-injection turbocharged engine.

This powerplant meets the Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM) – Europe EU Stage V emissions regulations, supporting a range of lifting activities with high hydraulic performance.

Kobelco’s new crane builds on the established technology of the TKE750G series, focusing on durability, operational reliability, and transport convenience.

The TKE750GLB incorporates Kobelco’s 4-plate box structural boom design, featuring built-in hydraulic cylinders in each section.

This structural approach aims to optimise durability through materials selection, construction, and welding methods.

The crane is designed to be transportable with the boom attached, aiming to reduce assembly times upon arrival at job sites.

Kobelco states that the compact machine body and telescopic boom are intended to provide versatility in various work environments, combining crawler crane mobility with telescopic reach.

Operational features include lifting capacities of up to 75t at 2.6m on an 11.6m boom, with capacities of 35t at 4.5m for a 19.4m boom, and 16.3t at 8.5m for the boom extended to its maximum length of 35m.

The crane’s winch offers a maximum line pull of 153.1 kilonewton (kN) and a rated single-line pull of 68.6kN, using a 22mm diameter wire rope.

The TKE750GLB will also come equipped with the Kobelco Crane Remote Observation Satellite System (KCROSS), which provides data on operating conditions, location, and maintenance history to support asset management and maintenance scheduling.
