Michielsens, CraneWorks and Kawelke have ordered Demag all terrain cranes.

Belgium's crane rental, transport and industrial assembly company Michielsens has ordered a 700t Demag AC 700-9.  This is the second crane of this model purchased by the company.

Crane rental company Kawelke took delivery of a Demag AC 130-5 with an IC-1 Plus control system at its premises in Bobenheim-Roxheim, Germany.

General manager Jürgen Kawelke said: “The whole concept behind the innovative IC-1 Plus control system is what really sold us on the crane, as it makes it possible to always get the maximum available lifting capacity even when using asymmetrical or small outrigger setups.”

Houston-headquartered CraneWorks has ordered the new Demag AC 220-5, it will be one of the first cranes of this model to be delivered in the US.

The 220t (245USt) crane, is now in production and will soon ship from Germany. “With this acquisition, CraneWorks now has 370 machines in North America including 46 cranes from Terex and Demag,” said Keith Ayers, CEO of CraneWorks.

“This 245USt AC 220-5 for our sales fleet joins the 120USt Demag AC-100 we recently added to our rental fleet, giving our customers the ability to easily handle their toughest jobs.”
