North America Palfinger, the US branch of the Austrian-headquartered crane builder, has announced the opening of a new sales and installation facility, PalFleet Truck Equipment, in Trenton, NJ.

Palfinger’s new facility will provide services for Palfinger product distributors in the Northeastern US.

As an authorized dealer offering uplifts for the General Motors chassis pool, the facility also stocks truck parts and provides services on the General Motors vehicle brands, GMC and Chevrolet.

Palfleet has two additional General Motors chassis pools in Nashville, TN and Council Bluffs, IA, as well as distribution outlets in 10 locations.

The facility will install cranes and hoists for general motor dealers in the Northeastern US, as well as service bodies, platforms, ice removal equipment, Crysteel dump bodies and Eagle Lift gates.

The move comes after Palfinger Group announced further expansion plans in Russia earlier this month, with the acquisition of hydraulics and loading equipment manufacturer INMAN in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a federated subject state of Russia.
