Italian tower crane manufacturer Recom Moritsch has named Toronto-based crane dealership Concrane as its exclusive distributor in Ontario, Canada.

Concrane Sales will offer to the local market Recom’s new range of luffing jib cranes and low-top hammerhead cranes.

The Moritsch family has a strong reputation within the industry, as Ferruccio Moritsch was the creator and founder of Comedil, a brand which was acquired by Terex.

According to Mariano Moritsch, the family’s relationship with the president of Concrane Sales Enrico Redigonda began in 1988.

“Enrico sold the first Comedil crane in Ontario, amongst many others, which went on to build much of the downtown core in Toronto.” Moritsch said.

Cranes Today understands that Recom is close to appointing a UK dealership and is working on agreements in Asia that it expects to conclude in early 2018.
