German heavy transport contractor Schmidbauer has added three Liebherr mobile cranes to its portfolio

The company purchased two cranes in the five-axle class -- an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1130-5.1 -- as well as an LTM 1060-3.1 in the three-axle class.

The cranes will be stationed at Schmidbauer's headquarters in Gräfelfing, near Munich.

Company founder Werner Schmidbauer said: "We were persuaded by the LTM 1060-3.1 due to its 48m telescopic boom and high load capacities. What is more is that its compact dimensions means that it is ideal for use in the very constricted conditions to be found in the City of Munich."
