Sennebogen crawler works in Pakistan
28 February 2014Pakistan Railways, the country’s state railway company has purchased a Sennebogen 640 HD crawler crane. The machine has been put straight to work on in the maintenance of the railways. Providing lifting capabilities at the firms building yards and in the new construction and the extension of the railway lines.
The German manufacturer's Pakistani dealer the Ahmed Jaffer & Company Ltd (AJCL) delivered the duty cycle 640 HD crawler to Pakistan Railways. Currently a second parallel railway line of approximately 200 km is under construction between the cities, Sahiwal and Lahore. The crawler crane, has been unloading the long track elements and placing them on the ballast bed as part of the project.
