Civil engineering contractor and plant hire company Tulloch Developments, based on the Shetland Islands in the north of Scotland, has purchased a new 70t Tadano Faun ATF 70 G-4 all terrain crane.

The Tadano crane was supplied by Cranes UK, based in Tankersley, UK. Tulloch also invested in two new Renault K-range 8x4 tippers, supplied by Elgin Truck & Van Centre.

Shaun Tulloch, project manager at Tulloch Developments, said: "The decision to spend this level of capital investment is due to our successful tendering and award of the new Holmsgarth North jetty construction contract from the Lerwick Port Authority. Works include driving 800m of sheet piling to create the jetty structure, moving around 400,000 cb m of quarried rock to be used as infill, and 4,000m3 of ready-mix concrete to cast on edge coping and surface decks."
