From tomorrow, Unic Cranes’ official Italian dealer, Levo, will be showing three Unic mini spider cranes at stand C/89, area 48 of the SAIE 2011 exhibition in Bologna, Italy. The firm will also show two additional cranes at MADE.

This year’s SAIE is expected to attract 170,000 visitors from 5th – 8th October this year. Levo, will not only be exhibiting Unic cranes in Bologna but also in Milan at the simultaneous MADE. The three Unic mini cranes on display at SAIE are the URW-095, URW-295 and URW-547. Designed for compactness, and accordingly able to move through doorways, the URW-095 measures 600mm in its stowed position and can lift just under 1t. The heavier lifting URW-295 can lift almost 3t. Unic’s new release, on display for visitors to Levo’s stand at SAIE, is the URW-547, offering 4t of lifting capacity, and a total lifting height of 18.2m. A slightly different mix of Unic cranes will simultaneously be on display at Levo’s stands H38 and G38 at the MADE exhibition. While the URW-095 crane will be at both shows, the URW-094 will be at MADE only. The two cranes at MADE are the most compact Unic mini crane models, with Unic claiming the URW-094 to be the world’s smallest crane. Kerry Edwards, PR and Marketing Coordinator for Unic, said: “The world’s smallest mini crane, the Unic URW-094, and the URW-095 crane are lightweight and specifically designed to be able to access to the most restricted of areas.”
