Cranes Today’s inaugural Cranes Asia conference took place in Singapore last week, with speakers, delegates and exhibitors alike relishing the opportunity to present business-critical information to Asian and Australasian customers.

Delegates included an impressive cross-section from across the crane and lifting-related industries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as local government officials and consultants to the lifting industry.

Away from the presentation floor, exhibitors such as Al Jaber Heavy Lift, Manitowoc, Terex, Tat Hong, ALE Heavylift, AGS and Crosby Group gave delegates the opportunity to learn more about the latest equipment and technologies available to them in the area. Kobelco’s Mike Tatsuo even provided some lighter entertainment with magic tricks.

A full review of Cranes Asia 2009 will appear in the January edition of Cranes Today.

Cranes Asia is set to return in 2010. For more details, see www.cranes-asia.com, www.cranestodaymagazine.com and www.twitter.com/cranesasia. To register your interest, contact Kate Hearn on khearn@worldmarketintelligence.com or +44 (0) 208 269 7743.
