Bob Hund has been promoted to the role of executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Care with immediate effect.

Hund replaces Larry Bryce, who is moving into a leadership position at Manitowoc Foodservice, a sister company to Manitowoc Cranes. Hund will retain his current responsibilities of leading Manitowoc’s worldwide marketing and project management teams and will continue to report directly to Eric Etchart.

“I am very happy to take on this role within Manitowoc Crane Care,” said Hund. “Providing 24/7 technical support to our customers around the globe is not just a slogan for us. Under the leadership of Larry Bryce, Manitowoc Crane Care has become the most extensive customer support network in the lifting industry, and I am proud to be a part of it.”

Etchart said: “Bob has held a variety of product support, marketing, engineering and manufacturing leadership roles in the construction equipment industry for the past 22 years.

“His extended assignments in Asia, Europe and North America have further prepared him to take on this global leadership position.”
