Jeff Bust and Steve Cripe from Grove, Larry Weyers from Manitowoc and Pierre-Yves Le Daeron from Potain are the next tranche of managers to be assigned senior positions in the newly expanded Manitowoc Crane Group.

Glen Tellock, president of Manitowoc Crane Group, said that these four, added to the three regional executive vice presidents announced recently, complete his senior management team.

The appointments, which are effective immediately, come less than four weeks after Manitowoc's acquisition of Grove Worldwide.

The newest additions to Manitowoc Crane Group's senior management team include: Jeff Bust is given the title of executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and remains chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide, although John Wheeler has day to day control of operations at Grove while Bust immerses himself in group strategic issues. Bust's job is to 'assist Tellock with major strategic initiatives including his current role as transition manager for the Grove and Potain acquisitions, as well as identifying and evaluating future acquisitions, plus undertaking other special assignments'.

Steve Cripe, former chief financial officer of Grove Worldwide, becomes controller of Manitowoc Crane Group with full financial responsibility. Tellock himself was chief financial officer of The Manitowoc Company Inc before being appointed president and general manager of the crane group in June this year.

Larry Weyers retains his status within the group as senior vice president responsible for worldwide marketing and product support. His job title has shifted subtly though from his previous position of senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Pierre-Yves Le Daeron, has moved from being Potain's corporate development director to become general manager of the new consolidated aerial work platforms division of Manitowoc Cranes, which includes the Liftlux (incorporating TKD), Grove Manlift and Delta brands.

As previously announced, Marty Lakes is executive vice president of the Americas region, Jean-Yves Bouffault is executive vice president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Eric Etchart is executive vice president of the Asia Pacific region.

'This extremely strong management team, which is comprised of exceptional leaders from Manitowoc, Potain, and Grove, will be responsible for delivering on the synergies made possible by our two most-recent acquisitions. Our market leadership position has never been stronger and our opportunities for global reach and economies of scale have never been greater. I have tremendous confidence in each of these individuals and look forward to working with them to build and lead the best crane company in the world,' Tellock said.
