Mapello, Italy-headquartered Locatelli Crane, which makes rough terrain cranes and truck mounted cranes, has debuted its new 100 tonne capacity rough terrain, the GRIL 110.100 at the Intermat trade show in Paris, France.

The crane’s nomenclature reflects the crane’s lifting capacity in US tons, followed by the number in metric tonnes.

The two-axle crane has a five-section, 47-metre main boom; it is equipped with Locatelli’s new ‘Locasystem’ Load Moment Indicator (with a ten-inch touchscreen), variable outrigger settings, plus a new wider cab with climate control.

The GRIL 110.100 is now the largest rough terrain Locatelli makes, surpassing the 80 tonne GRIL 87.80.

Speaking at Intermat, Locatelli sales manager Michele Mortarino commented, “the launch of the GRIL 110.100 is a fitting way for Locatelli to celebrate its 70th anniversary and so far the market response has been very positive.”
