British Telecom has awarded a £6m ($10m) supply contract for aerial work platforms to Time Condor subsidiary Versalift Distributors (UK). The deal follows completion of a previous contract under which 180 Versalift platforms on Ford Transit vans were supplied over a two year period.
Versalift’s new contract covers all of BT’s vehicle-mounted access platform requirements for three years, with an option for a fourth. It is anticipated that about 300 machines of three different models will be delivered over the course of the contract period.
