Rigging, lifting, and securement hardware manufacturer Crosby, part of the Kito Crosby portfolio of brands, has launched what it describes as its ‘most advanced crane camera systems to date’.

The new Crosby BlokCam X4 and M4 systems introduce a higher standard of clarity and reliability for crane operators and lifting teams, the company claims.

The upgraded system offers enhanced imaging via 2K QHD (Quad High Definition) resolution at 2688 × 1520 @ 15fps (16:9). This, Crosby says, delivers exceptional clarity for crane operators.

The cameras also have an expanded field of view (93° horizontal, 48° vertical, and 117° diagonal). Crosby says these expanded viewing angles provide operators with a comprehensive perspective of the load, surroundings, and potential hazards.

Other camera technology offered by the X4 and M4 systems include: WDR Pro (Wide Dynamic Range) – designed to provide good visibility in challenging lighting conditions, from bright sunlight to deep shadows; enhanced low‑light performance – with crisp, clear images even in minimal lighting environments; and improved high-definition recording. The systems now support up to 50 days of continuous footage. This, Crosby says, facilitates more robust documentation, operational review, and safety compliance.
