Leo Spierings (left) hands-over the Spierings SK599-AT5 to John Sutch, owner of Liverpool, UK-based John Sutch Crane Hire. The crane is the 400th folding crane produced by Leo Spierings since the company started producing truck-mounted tower cranes in 1987. The handover took place in central Manchester where the crane was put straight to work lifting structural steel for stores with apartments above them.

The maximum load of the crane is 9,000kg at 13m radius, and its maximum jib length is 50m. Maximum height under the jib is 25.8m with two towers erected, or 34.6m with three towers. The maximum lifting height with the jib horizontal is 32.6m, and 56.3m with the jib offset 30 degrees.
