Ontario-based Canadian Professional Crane purchased the crane through Terex distributor Cropac Equipment.
The 8000 model combines the design of a truck crane with that of a boom crane, providing 360° load capacity ahead of any other boom truck in North America, says Terex.
The crane’s superstructure is mounted on a 2014 Freightliner 114SD chassis, with a 38m fully-powered four-section boom with a quick-reeve boom head and a 10-17m offset jib. It also features an X-pattern outrigger design which eliminates the need for a front stabiliser jack, decreasing overall crane length and weight.
