Approximately seven million bricks are produced per year in two factories. The 6180 HD plays a key role for smooth brick production by handling all clay excavation work. Equipped with a 30m boom, 30t winches and a 6 cu.yd. dragline, the crane will be working two shifts. On average, the excavation depth is about 20m.

The 450kW engine is cleaner-running than the diesel alternatives. The electric motor also reduces the time and money required for engine maintenance, cooler cleaning and fuel requirements for the machine. The smoothness of the electro-motor ensures lower noise levels and greatly extends the life-span of hydraulic components, Sennebogen said.
