The company said that the purchase of the 10t lifting capacity cranes from UNIC Cranes Europe’s German dealer Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner GmbH will aid Heavydrive’s customised lifting equipment solutions for glass installations worldwide.
The URW-1006 has a 30.7m lifting height, 24.3m working radius and 2m wide chassis to help work in restricted spaces. A pick-and-carry function also enables the unit to travel with loads up to 1.5t.
The cranes bought by Heavydrive are the second and third Japanese-made URW-1006 models sourced by Mini and Mobile Cranes Körner from UNIC Cranes Europe.
