CRANE hire company MINA srl took delivery in May of the first Tadano Faun ATF 80-4 delivered to Italy.
MINA specialises in pre-cast concrete assembly work and bought the Faun 80 tonner partly because it has a separate superstructure engine. The crane is expected to spend more time on site than travelling and so a smaller superstructure engine saves diesel.
A week later Italy’s second ATF 80-4 was delivered to Pronto Gru srl in Bari. This company specialises in the erection of tower cranes. A further five ATF 80-4s will be delivered this year to Italian customers, Tadano Faun said.
