AT CONEXPO 2002 Liebherr-Werk Nenzing presented American State Equipment, one of its US dealers, with a commemorative silver plate, engraved with a picture of a crawler crane, in recognition of its sales successes.
American State Equipment, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has sold more than 40 crawler cranes in its territory (which, as Liebherr points out, is on Manitowoc’s doorstep) since 1997. In the last six months alone it has sold the following cranes:
• LR 1100 to Miron Construction Co. Inc. of Appleton, Wisconsin
• LR 1280 to Area Erectors of Chicago, Illinois
• HS 855 to Shea Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• HS 895 to Kenny Construction of Chicago, Illinois
• LR 1160 to Poindexter also of Chicago
