Manitowoc has announced plans to introduce new crane technologies and expanded aftermarket solutions at bauma CHINA 2026, which will run from 24 to 27 November 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
The company is set to unveil the latest developments under the theme “Complete Lifting Solutions. Trusted Every Day.”
Manitowoc will present a range of products and services aimed at improving productivity and increasing value throughout the lifecycle of lifting equipment.
During the exhibition, Manitowoc will reveal full details of a new high-capacity Potain luffing jib crane and preview a next-generation flat-top crane, which is scheduled for release in 2027.
The company will also display models from its Potain and Grove ranges, as well as digital tools, energy solutions, and technologies focused on operational efficiency, uptime, and intelligent equipment management.
Manitowoc emerging markets president Brian Wang said: “At this year’s bauma CHINA 2026 we will show how emerging markets are playing a critical role in Manitowoc’s global business.
“As customer requirements evolve, lifting solutions must extend beyond the crane to include responsive service, parts support, energy solutions, technical expertise, and lifecycle support.
“That’s why we’re exhibiting at bauma CHINA 2026 under the theme “Complete Lifting Solutions. Trusted Every Day”.”
An Industry Forum will take place at Manitowoc’s booth on 26 November, bringing together company leadership, rental companies, dealers, and customers.
Participants will discuss market trends such as economic shifts, infrastructure investment, urbanisation, sustainability, and workforce challenges.
According to the company, this event will focus on the ways Manitowoc supports customers entering emerging markets with high-performance cranes and technical backing.
The importance of lifecycle support for cranes will be a central theme at the event, reflecting growing demand from construction companies for efficient operations, support services, and environmentally conscious solutions.
Products including Potain Power Solutions, the new ECS (Ergo Control System), anti-collision systems, cameras, and monitoring equipment will be among those showcased.
Manitowoc will also introduce the Potain K1000A mast, a new 3.45m x 3.45m mast designed for the Potain MCT 2205 and future high-capacity cranes.
The Manitowoc booth will feature educational sessions, customer celebrations, and daily forums, with activities aimed at highlighting the company’s focus on full-lifecycle crane support.
Manitowoc will be located at Booth A.38 during bauma CHINA 2026.
