In his new capacity, Schiller will manage Manitowoc’s sales and marketing efforts for all crane brands throughout Latin America.
Schiller joined Manitowoc at the start of 2008, having served as executive vice president of sales for Liebherr Cranes North America and vice president and partner of Schiller International, Liebherr’s original US distributor.
“Despite market conditions around the world, Latin America still represents a significant growth opportunity for Manitowoc,” said Dave Birkhauser, senior vice president of sales for the Americas.
“By combining sales and marketing management of this region under Schiller, we hope to continue capitalising on those opportunities.”
