Offshore Crane Engineering (OCE), based in Aberdeen, Scotland, has appointed Charles McLaughlan to the new post of chief executive.

The position has been created as part of the company’s strategy to increase and develop existing business in the oil and gas and industrial markets.

Formerly regional director with Salamis, McLaughlan has 27 years experience in the oil & gas and construction industries. At OCE he will work alongside managing director Scott Glatley, and his father Bob Glatley who is the chairman.
