JPW made the decision so it could better focus on its rapidly growing markets for large cranes (200-ton capacity and over) and windmill construction and maintenance, C&S said.

Affiliate JPW Structural Contracting, Inc., will continue to operate as a structural steel fabricator and erector in the upstate New York region.

The sale includes two 90-ton cranes, one 50-ton crane, one 35-ton crane, one 15-ton crane, 12 forklifts with capabilities ranging from 2 to 15 tons.

C&S is planning to use the equipment in its Syracuse crane and rigging division, which serves industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and general contracting markets.
