WIRE rope manufacturer Pfeifer, a German company, has this month set up a new distribution subsidiary in Madrid, Spain called Pfeifer Cables y Equipos de Elevación SL.
Pfeifer supplies wire rope for a wide range of equipment manufacturers including Liebherr and Sennebogen. The Spanish operation has been set up to improve the service it can offer – supplying rope ready for use and cut to length – to Spanish customers. Spain is currently one of the few good construction markets in Europe. Pfeifer will announce its presence in Spain by exhibiting at the SMOPyC 2002 fair in Zaragoza next month.
