US manufacturer Remtron’s has launched what it believes is ” a breakthrough in the design of handheld proportional control transmitters for proportional hydraulic controls”.
Using its patented proportional controller, Remtron has begun production of a handheld proportional control transmitter that has full range motion and, it claims, “excellent tactile feel”. The one million cycle controller is designed to reduce muscle stress while freeing the operator’s other hand.
Called the model T12, it works with the Remtron CAN receiver and Remtron PWM receiver.
Remtron has also brought out a new belly box controller. The T34A replaces the T34 in its product range. It has the same rugged aluminium casing but it is smaller because it uses Remtron’s more compact next generation Command Pro electronics.
The new side mounted battery case makes replacement of standard AA batteries quicker and more convenient, the manufacturer claims. New distinctive handles for the levers help to give the operator a feel for where the controls are without looking down. The T34A is designed particularly for proportional or multi-speed control of cranes and other industrial material handling equipment.
