The SRC885 has a reach of up to 209.7ft through a five-section, full-power boom. It can achieve the rated 85USt lifting capacity at a 10ft radius. With an overall weight of 115,880lb Sany believe the crane is well sized for a variety of applications whilst still being easy to transport.

The crane features a Cummins engine, Braden winches and hoists, a Dana transmission and Parker hydraulics. Sany said the SRC885 achieves manoeuvrability and a smooth ride through 4×4 hydraulic powered steering and earthmover-style tires. To provide stability in adverse ground conditions, the rough terrain crane features three-position outriggers that level the crane with up to 12.4in of ground penetration and maximum horizontal extension of 24ft.

The 275-hp Cummins Tier 4i engine integrates with the hydraulic system for precision control and multi-function load sharing. Hydraulic joysticks provide smooth, variable control of crane functions, and the two-speed swing system rotates 360 degrees in either direction.

In addition to its four-model lineup of rough terrain cranes, ranging from 40-85USt, Sany America also offers five crawlers crane models from 110-550 USt.

Speaking about their rough terrain range Kyle Nape, senior vice president, Sany America, said: "All these models are new to this marketplace since 2010, we’re an engineering-based company with an impressive record of product development that underscores our commitment to the North American market."
