SC&RA Annual Conference 2023

The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association's 2023 Annual Conference will be held from April 17-21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Conference Center in Carlsbad, California. The conference is expected to attract owners, CEOs, top managers, and leaders from the construction and transportation industries. There will be educational sessions, committee meetings, receptions, and networking opportunities, including the Exhibit Center with over 80 booths.

The conference will also serve as an opportunity to celebrate the Association's 75th anniversary and highlight the many members who have contributed to its success.

The conference’s educational track will feature industry veterans and professional speakers covering topics ranging from insurance and risk management to the post-pandemic business climate and the political landscape heading into 2024.

Highlighted sessions include ‘Key Questions & Considerations in 2023 – The Markets Respond’ which will feature representatives from National Interstate Insurance Company and NBIS discussing issues pertinent to SC&RA members.

‘All Eyes on the Economy’ will be a strategic conversation led by key industry figures focussed on the emerging economy post-COVID.

A.B. Stoddard, Associate Editor and Columnist for RealClearPolitics, will deliver ‘The Political Landscape & 2024 Election’ offering a nonpartisan perspective of the political landscape of the day and the nation's upcoming elections.

The conference will also include golf and tennis tournaments, a 5K fun run/walk, a guitar reception, and the SC&RF Gala fundraiser featuring a Fete En Blanc (white party) with a Magical Mystery Tour theme. The Closing Night Awards & Recognition Reception & Dinner will showcase the industry's most notable achievements throughout the previous year, including the presentation of the Jobs of the Year award winners.

Registration for the Annual Conference is open, with different rates for members, member spouses/guests or children over 18, member children ages 12-17, and non-members.
