Equipped with a 20m telescopic boom and a 350kg work platform, the 608 has been used to set up and dismantle a conveyor belt on site, as well as working on assembly and repairs for the system. Bis has made use of the crane’s fixed hook to unload heavy machine parts and positioned items using the 6t winch.
For the open-pit mine application the 608 Multicrane has been equipped with additional railings and a fire extinguishing system. The manufacturer said that due to the rigorous requirements imposed in daily operation and the remote implementation site, the owners wanted a reliable unit.
Sennebogen’s Australian Service and Sales Partner PACE Cranes was on-site if needed to ensure a supply of spare parts.
