The German business said that prior to the signature of the dealer contract at the fair on Tuesday 16th April an extensive training and education of local sales and service staff had been completed through the company’s subsidiary PT. Sennebogen Asia/Pacific.
PT. Gaya Makmur Tractors (Tractors GM) has worked as construction equipment dealers since 2005, with six branches across Indonesia.
Erich Sennebogen, director, said: "We are looking forward to a fruitful and long-term cooperation with our new partner GM Tractors in a promising growth market. We are convinced that we can win a lot of satisfied customers in Indonesia."
Indonesia was the official partner country of Bauma 2013 and Sennebogen said that with the planned govermental infrastructure investments of US$ 465 billion between now and 2025, the largest country in southeastern Asia had a great deal of potential for business and investment.
