Two new winches from Bloom Manufacturing Inc include a spring-applied, hydraulic-release safety brake which automatically holds the load when hydraulic pressure is released.
They also feature a double counterbalance valve which increases holding capacity by locking the hydraulic oil in the motor.
The 1400k and 1600K series have lifting capacities of 6.80t and 9.07t respectively. Both are available with 25:1 ratio as standard and 12.5:1 ratio as an option.
The direct drive winches are equipped with a sliding clutch to allow free spooling of the drum for pulling applications.
