The redesigned carrier cab includes an enhanced lighting system, featuring daytime running lamps, fog lamps including curve lights and an integrated rotary beacon.

An ergonomic seat offers automatic height adjustment, pneumatic suspension, an integrated headrest, shoulder adjustment, pneumatic lumbar support, an integrated seat belt design, seat heating, armrest and seat cushion depth adjustment.

The steering wheel is height and tilt adjustable, while B-pillars have been removed to improve the view of the mirrors. The mirrors themselves are adjustable and heated, while the glove box is air conditioned to allow it to be used as a cooler. The redesigned carrier cab also features powered door windows and a remote controlled door opening system for easy operation.

Crab steering is also possible on both the left and right side of the driver adjustable shift console.

On the crane, Terex said the new cab is designed with a layout that offers optimal visibility, ergonomics and touchscreen functionality.

Visibility is improved with tilt up to 20°, a ‘position out of window’ wiper system, sliding windows in the door and rear, a fold out front window, laminated roof safety glass and tinted safety glass.

Ergonomics are enhanced with handrails, sliding side pedestal, foldable front pedestal and a new seat design. The seat offers manual height adjustment, mechanical suspension, removable headrest, mechanical lumbar support, seat heating and an armrest.

The touchscreen graphical user interface is also adjustable.

Other features include a remote controlled door opening system, engine-dependent and independent heating with timer, and a multi function key.

The key acts as an immobiliser and electronic key to access the carrier and crane cabs, a mechanical key to access the carrier and crane cabs, a mechanical key to operate the carrier engine and the crane, fuel tank lock and tool box lock.
