Baldwins Industrial Services used its Liebherr LR 1800 crawler crane to install the 350t topsides module onto the BR Hoton Offshore jacket structure that is being constructed by SLP Engineering at Lowestoft, UK. The crane was rigged in derrick configuration, giving it a rated capacity of 1,200t, with 56m of main boom and 35m of luffing fly jib. The first task was to stand up and position the 250t jacket core. The topsides module, measuring 18m by 16m and 12m high, was then installed at a height of 70m and a radius of 21m.
