In the wake of Conexpo, it shot off 20 of its new Terex Roadmaster 9000 truck cranes on a short delivery schedule to clients in Canada, North America, and other countries, in addition to the 20 rough terrain and crawler cranes sent to its new distributor Coast Crane.

Terex says the Roadmaster 9000 was developed specifically for the North American market with feedback from American customers. In accordance with this, the new crane has a 50m boom lifting capacity of 81t. Outriggers configured in an X-arrangement of the outriggers give it added capacity.

Along with the Roadmaster 9000 truck crane, Terex introduced two US-made boom trucks.

The Crossover 6000 boom truck is attractive to the market as an affordable option with capacities of up to 54t and a self-removable counterweight up to 7.5t.

The BT 28106 is another new boom truck with a capacity of up to 25t, a 32m boom and maximum tip height of 49m

Frank Bardonaro, vice president and managing director, Terex Cranes Americas, commented on the surge of introductions.

“Our team had been looking forward to the event for months. We are all highly motivated by the momentum that our company has built. With over 20 new products introduced in just twelve months, Terex Cranes is fully prepared to support our customers’ business success with new crane models and innovations designed to meet the increasing challenges of today’s business.”
