The order ranges from 40t to 750t cranes. The largest is a new LTM 1750-9.1, the first crane of this type to be delivered to a German customer. The nine-axle model was unveiled during a customer open day at the Liebherr plant in June 2012.

Liebherr said that Wasel’s 750t crane was being delivered directly from the manufacturing plant to its first job constructing wind turbines. Wasel said the unit was ideal for the job, because of the large weights and tower heights involved.

The cranes will be delivered during the first quarter of 2013. All of the new machines feature engines that comply with the latest emissions regulations.
