Among other things, Kahl’s role includes overseeing a team consisting of Thomas Odenbreit, the new representative for Western Germany, and Wolfgang Kavelius, representing Southern Germany.
The reps were appointed in November and February respectively as part of Wolffkran’s plan to expand German customer support and service teams for the company’s leasing fleet, which includes 650 Wolff slewing tower cranes.
Explaining the team’s local focus, Kahl said, “We will be concentrating our efforts not only on winning international construction companies but also medium-sized German companies. Having a local presence, right near these clients, is essential for success”.
He continued, “We are in the process of hiring more installers, and electronic engineers specialising in troubleshooting. We are also currently reviewing the range of services we offer.”
Odenbreit and Kavelius will also work in subsidiary territories to bring in new business, Wolffkran said.
Current support services offered by Wolffkran subsidiaries in Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund, the Southwest and Munich will continue as usual.
